The 1.2mm Brass Recording Custom snare drum features the dark saturation of brass shells.

Steve Gadd Signature 10-Strand Snare Wire:
A 14-Strand snare wire with the middle four removed, this enriches the cutoff of the sound allowing the player to produce a crisper staccato tone.

Only the 14"x5.5" Model comes bundled with the 20" Strand Snare Wire (equipped) and the Steve Gadd Signature 10-Strand snare wire while the 14"x6.5" and 13"x6.5" come stock with the 20-Strand snare wire equipped.

Center Bead:
The center bead on this snare drums is fixed on the outside of the shell providing more openness then other conventional drums. Giving off a crisp and articulated performance.

Q Type Strainer:
The Q-type strainer is not only heavy duty but smooth as needed.
