I am far from expert level so I am used to and content with playing on cheap keyboards and out of tune pianos. To me, this portable, slim keyboard is luxury. The keys are far from cheap and the sound is authentic enough for me. 76 keys is just enough for fur Elise and there's 2 settings of electric piano, organ, strings, vibes, harpsi each. There's even a usb (to host) outlet on the back (wire not included).

The Yamaha NP-32 is a great keyboard if you're someone who wants something lightweight and portable with great sound. It's light enough to carry under one arm, and still has a great feeling action better than other portable keyboards. The onboard speakers sound awesome, or use headphones for quite practice!

The light weight portability of this nice sounding keyboard makes it ideal for the student traveling between home and instructor, as well as, the professional traveling to gigs where the option to plug into an amp exists

This is a great digital piano is great for a musician on the go or someone who wants something that does not take up a lot of space. It has a very thin footprint and is extremely lightweight. The keys are not weighted, but feel very nice. I have seen a lot of schools use it in keyboard labs, and college students love it for the ability to store it under a bed or in a closet easily. It's also great that you can hook up your iOS device and record easily. This is a real hands on product review by Steve in Sam Ash Music in Lyndhurst, OH.

Problem: You want to practice keys but space is at a premium. Solution: This guy! The biggest surprise was the feel of the keys and the action. Upon hearing it, I was also shocked at the big sound you can get out of this small package. If you are looking for no nonsense practice, or if you are looking for a small gigging piece, look no further, Yamaha has provided the answer.

This year Yamaha gave us an upgrade to their Piaggero series. The NP32 now has more quality Yamaha piano sounds compared to previous models and a way better key feel. These models are definitely quality over quantity. Great sounds without all the bells and whistles you may not need.

Great first keyboard. Sounds are great and it has real easy playability. Touch sensitivity is awesome. Piano sounds are very realistic. Lightweight and easy to move around.
