I play guitar, bass, drums, and sing. I wanted to add keys to my sill set to add more flavor and options with my recordings, and after much research I decided on the MX49. I have not been disappointed. The range of sounds, from Rhodes to Grand Piano to organs, synths, strings, percussion, and on and on all sound great, with plenty of options for adjustments both in programming and with on-the-fly changes from knobs, the modulation wheel, and the split, layer, and arpeggio buttons. The Motif sounds it uses are great. It weighs practically nothing (8 lbs I think) so it's easy to move and transport. The only thing difficult to master is the "performance" settings, but that's also one of the most powerful features. I'll figure it out better soon, but so far I'm loving it.
