all i can say is WOW

It's a great guitar but the effects take it to a whole new level

redefines acoustic guitars

This guitar will change how you play and compose. Lovely balanced tone. Not the loudest but loud enough. And unlike some yammies I've had, it feels supple and plays more like an electric. TA is great. Sounds good plugged in, to. Shipped with elixir strings - GOOD MOVE YAMAHA. Can't find any faults. GET ONE!

Loving my new Yamaha!

Loving my new Yamaha! Sounds like an acoustic electric plugged in when it's not plugged in. Plays well. An excellent guitar for the price.

A nice guitar

I may have very well kept this guitar if the fingerboard radius had been 12",the string length 24.5 or so, and the back and sides solid mahogany, I was impressed with the quality of the workmanship and playability as well, and the TA electronics are lots of fun ,,but at the time it just wasn't the guitar for me.

I Recommend Every Guitarist to Try This Guitar Out

Fantastic guitar, really spices up your average acoustic player and opens up a lot of creativity in techniques.

The Guitar for Anyone and Everyone!!!

Love this guitar! Most beautiful acoustic I've played, the TransAcoustic sound is so inspiring! If you can, stretch out of that budget friendly range ($200-$400), save for it and get yourself a TransAcoustic. You won't regret it!!! Shout-out to Specialist Evan Schlossberg for helping me with my purchase, he had a lot of patience!

A must have if you play acoustic guitar!

I thought the TransAcoustic technology might be a gimmick-WRONG! This sweet thing produces incredible sound. If you can get your hands on one buy it! Is a dream to play🥰

Very cool guitar that sounds great anywhere!

The Yamaha TransAcoustic is an excellent acoustic that sounds good in anyone's hands! Guitar isn't my primary instrument but I love how you can get such a huge sound out of this guitar without any extra gear. I especially like the chorus effect when playing single note licks. This is a great guitar on its own, and the built-in effects make it a must-have!

Give it a strum and watch the jaws drop

As someone who has been around cool gear for years, it is rare that I find a piece of gear that truly astounds me. This piece just happens to be one of the exceptions. I first saw it and thought, "Its got on-board effects, cool." but then I started playing it unplugged and realized you can use the effects without the need of an amplifier and I was truly astounded by this. The effects sound great and mixing the chorus and hall reverb can make this guitar sound almost like a 12 string. This is a cool guitar and I really look forward to playing around with it more in the future! This is an employee generated review by cgray at Sam Ash store 57
