Nice piece!!

Nice and good guitar for beginners.. my 7 years daughter love it. Thanks Sam ash, excellent customer service

Your kids' first guitar or your travel axe.

Probably the best little 1/2 or 3/4 size guitar in this price range. They stay in tune, need almost no maintenance and are all but indestructible. They come with a cool little gig bag and sound not half bad. I own one and it goes to the campout rock shows every time!

Holds a tune, sounds good!

Bought for my daughter (5 yrs old) at the recommendation of SamAsh staff. Probably the best steel string acoustic in this price range. After 3 mos, guitar will hold a tune all week long. Has good action, frets are not buzzy. Sound is pretty deep for a little guitar, tunes and sounds like big brother. The high E seems to be a bit out of intonation, but you can tune the top to the bottom and it cleans up. Anyway, I personally enjoy playing songs my daughter likes (i.e. Pres of the USA, "Peaches" but we alter the words to pizza), and this encourages her to shake mirachas, dance and then try the guitar chords on her own. Lots of fun, get one!

Good starter for kids....

Bought for my child to start on, they have since grown into adult size but was good when he was small.

Great small guitar

Bought this for my child to learn on, good little guitar

Great travel guitar

I bought this guitar mainly so I could take it with me when traveling long distances to visit family. If i wanted to take my full size with me on a plane, I would have to pay an extra $200, and if we had to take connecting flights it would be another $200 or whatever the specific airlines cahrged for extra luggage. With this, I can ealily put it in the storage bin on the plane and not have to worry about extra costs or possible damages on the way. So far, I just recently bought it, the sound is great and it's really fun to play. I look forward to our next family trip so I can finally take my guitar with me.

Crazy Cool But Needs Refining

I picked one up as a teaching tool to keep in the trunk of my car. With 20 minutes invested (and some steel wool #0000 (frets and back of the neck to smooth out the finish), car wax on the frets/fingerboard/back of neck and a new set of strings (Elixir)) I came to really enjoy playing this 'toy'. Reasonably well made for [$], really cool and fun to play. Average build thats set up really well. Understand this is not designed to compare to well built American made guitars, and it is small, but for what it costs, with a half hour invested you can have a really cool children's/travel guitar that plays really well and in tune. Its fun to play, in a a parlor guitar sort of way and its only [$]. Buy one for the trunk.

Careful -- it is a small 3/4 size guitar

I bought the guitar expecting it to be an "average" 3/4 size guitar. It is NOT!! The scale length is only 21". It is sized for a 5-9 year old. [...]

"Nice concept, poor execution"

"I bought this as a travel guitar, something that could fit overhead in the bind of an airplane, as my wife and I travel. I have a larger Yamaha dreadnaught, and it's superior construction. When I received the guitar was surprised at how nice of a design and size it was. Has two strap pegs, one on the bottom and one on the neck for wearing a strap. I found this very comfortable. The finish has lots of very tiny bumps in it, like the finish was rushed through. The neck also had small bumps on it, I probably couldh have gotten rid of them with steel wool, but I also found problems with the top of the guitar finish. There was a very noticable bump on one edge, and it was just painted over. Also, I had to do considerable tweaking with the truss rod to drop it down so the guitar would stay in tune. If this guitar had arrived without the finish flaws and had a better gig bag(with a pocket) I probably would have kept the guitar. But since the gig bag was cheap plastic with no pockets, and there were many finish flaws in the guitar, I decided to try another brand. Too bad, I like Yamaha products. You might want to try one out in the store, you could have better luck than me."
