Thank you Sam Ash for delivering a great guitar. This guitar came packed in two boxes, which is not always the case. The packing was really tight, and secure, which made me feel like "Hey Sam Ash cares". The guitar arrived fast. When I unboxed it and tuned up, I was a little nervous. The top wood is A Sitka which is amazing, but the back and sides are layered Mahogany. I have played some layered back and sides that were "eh" while others were fantastic. I was crossing my fingers. I played it for about five minutes. Then it happened. The guitar opened up, the sound was strong, the intonation was perfect. This guitar has it all. Its as good as $1000 taylors. No bull. If you need an affordable guitar for rehearsals, writing songs, jams, and playing live this is your accoustic guitar. I always thought you had to have a Masterbilt to get that "wow" feeling when you played it. But I was wrong. Oh I couldn't tell the pictures is this guitar 'a cannon' like the Eastmans, or Masterbilts. Guitar that are really thick have an amazing tone. It is. Washburn didn't cheap on the size. It's as big as the Masterbilt, and Eastmans guitars. This guitar is as good as the big boys guitar without breaking the bank. If you considering this Guitar, buy it. It is a very nice guitar. The finish is really nice. The mahoganys finish on the back is gorgeous, very much like Tamo Ash. This guitar has the 'wow' factor.
