VOX developed the world's first Wah-Wah effect during the '60s in an effort to allow guitarists to emulate the sound of a trumpet being muted — an important musical ingredient of the day. VOX's original Wah-Wah pedal quickly gained widespread popularity and its unique sonic characteristics have encouraged further experimentation by guitarists ever since. Having made spotlight appearances on some of the most famous recordings of all time, the Wah-Wah is still considered "must-have equipment" for guitar players of all levels and abilities today.

The V847A Wah-Wah pedal is an enhanced version of the most famous guitar effects pedal of all time. Based on the specifications of the original pedal developed by VOX in the '60s, the new Wah-Wah offers guitarists the same legendary tone with the addition of AC power capability and a buffered input jack for preserving the unprocessed guitar tone when the pedal is not engaged. The pedal's inductor has undergone a redesign to be closer in specification to the original VOX wah inductors, for improved dynamics and tone. These additions will benefit players of all genres who use a wah pedal as an integral part of their sound. Power supply optional. Includes vinyl carry bag.

Bye Bye Baby

Took the cry baby off my main board and but this bay in there

Best Wah for the Money!

I debated a long time which Wah pedal to get and I looked at several. I had a Cry baby back in the 80's when I first started out and just didn't use it much or really like it. Now in my 50's I am finding that I am getting back into old rock and roll and a Wah Wah is a must. The Vox Wah Wah is a fantastic pedal with all the original sounds of days past! very happy with this purchase, sounds fantastic and built to last forever!

Pretty nice Wahwah

I was very pleased with my purchase. I was a bit worried when purchasing this Wahwah that it would dampen my over signal when enabled. But NOPE, It's just what i was looking for.

Vox Wah is AMAZING

i just recently got this wah and let me tell you it beats most crybaby's. this wah is very versatile and has great sound. the dunlop crybaby's have more treble but the vox wah's sound makes up for it. i highley recomend this pedal to any ametuers who are looking for a first buy or any experienced players who want an upgrade.

You get What You Pay For :)

I got this pedal for [$] at a guitar shop, this is worth every pedal. All you need next is a dallais fuzzface pedal, and you can recreate the old sound of Voodoo Child. This is awesome. The only complaint that I have is that it can be hard to turn on when your using it on the carpet sometimes. But still this thing rocks. Mine came with a Vox carrying case.

Great Sound

I had it for about 5 months now and no complaints so far. I've heard the output jack can come loose and eventually break, but I have not had this problem yet. Hopefully I got a good one and it wont break. Great range of tone, very classic rock sounding. I heard this is the pedal Eric Clapton used on White Room with Cream. Sounds very similar to the recording. Great buy, you defintely get your money's worth.
