The Pathfinder Bass 10 pumps out 10 Watts into a pair of 5" VOX bulldog speakers.

For the bassist, VOX introduces the newest member of the Pathfinder family, the Bass 10. This dual-speaker, deep-thumping, portable amp is ideal for the on-the-go bass player. In addition to Treble and Bass tone-shaping controls, the Bright switch offers an edgy boost to the upper harmonics. Turning up the Drive control provides a warm, bass distortion that adds character and vitality to the tone. The Pathfinder Bass 10 pumps out 10 Watts into a pair of 5" VOX bulldog speakers. A headphone/line output jack is also provided for silent practice, and for recording.

Got what I expected

Comments about Vox Pathfinder Bass 10 Portable Bass Amp:

This amp is larger than a toaster and smaller than a microwave. It has two 5 inch speakers.
In a small room it is adequate for a practice amp. It sounds good with a Rickenbacker, not so good with a Yamaha. I like it, but obviously it is not a large amp.

Comments about Vox Pathfinder Bass 10 Portable Bass Amp:

The first one I got from Sam Ash was defective as all it did was crackle and cut in and out. I got the replacement about a week later.

I plugged my new Hofner Vintage '64 into the second one and was extremely disappointed for a BASS amp. It just sounds like a regular guitar amp and even worse than when I hook the bass up to my electric piano (which I used until this came). The only way it sounds like an electric bass is if you wear headphones using the headphone plug. Heck, I get better sound from my computer speakers (with a small sub-woofer).

There's NO THUMPING or rich bass sound, just tinny recreation of hitting thick metal bass strings. I can practice just as well without the amp (hollow body Hofner).
