Bought it as a practice amp... many choices on sound, still trying to find the sound I'm looking for.

Despite its small size, this amp has a really warm and surprisingly big sound. The onboard modeling is pretty accurate and you can further shape the tones to get a great sound. Perfect for travelling as can also run off batteries for hours and hours and hours...

Great little amp. Love being able to be more mobile with my playing. Clean sounds are impressive. Distortion settings are just ok but certainly sound good enough to keep the amp. I also just use the amp as a music speaker when I work out. I hook my iPad up to it just to play music. Overall very happy with this product.

I was seconds away from buying a Boss Mini Katana before I seen this. I played the two side by side and this one was louder. Plus this amplifier has more tones (10 on the Vox vs. 3 on the Mini Katana). The final decision was the AC adapter was included where the Boss Mini Katana didn't include one and it cost more than the Vox. The tones are pretty cool and even plugged in my acoustic electric guitar to it and it sounded good. I just wanted a smaller amp to use so I don't offend my neighbors at night. The salesman at Sam Ash was very nice and patient with me as I tested both amps out, asking questions and any other needs I had.

This little gem of a VOX amplifier can make more voices than my larger amplifier from a venerable American brand with a single-15 in. speaker and 40 watts of power. It's utterly amazing what sounds this small-sized giant-voiced amp can produce with 3 watts through a 5 in speaker. Don't underestimate it's voice! Jamming with other musicians, you soon learn it's got power to spare, and can hold its own among the big dogs. Like to stay up late and rehearse with jam tracks? No problem, you have a line in and line out/headphone jack so you can jam 'til dawn or at any time without bothering family or neighbors. I'm not a busker, but this amp is advertised to run for quite a long while on six AA batteries. Power supply came included with mine for us non-busker types. Couldn't be happier with this little dude. Best money I ever spent on a 7 x 9 x 8.5 in. mini-amp. At a little over $100 U.S., all I can say is what a bargain!

Love this amp! So much in such small package. And LOUD!!! Use it for guitar and singing practice so far...mic input is why I chose this amp. I see real possibilities for more uses like small venue performances. Modest price for all you get with this little soundbox! Has some nice onboard effects but I use it with my guitar pedals as well--sounds great either way! Have both the black and ivory colors...both look great but ivory color really pops! Really like how my telecaster sounds on this mini amp! Very happy with this amp!

Nice little amp I got for playing harmonica outside at camp and for that the Vox works well. I played with the delay and the spring reverb and they work fine. I have not played the amp with any other musicians and the amp was designed for guitar not harp. I would buy this amp again.
