What happened???

I've installed these for a number of years as a decent, budget-friendly UPS for network components. Of the last 5 units I've installed, 4 have been defective (so far)...I'm not holding out much hope for the 5th. A UPS should be the most reliable part of your setup - this one is far from it. I can, unfortunately, not rely on Tripp-Lite anymore and have had to switch to another (more expensive) brand. Perhaps you do just get what you pay for, but these experiences have soured me to any Tripp-Lite product. If you can't build a working product at this price point - don't.

Smart pro backup

One of the best back up units to use. Software and setup is easy. Unit is super quiet and mounts onto any rack. Will buy another unit in the future.

Yes, I would buy this product again

We have 7 TV's on our boat and there is a Tripp Ilte hooked up to each one. Once you set them up the first time there is nothing else to do. The unit seamlessly runs our equipment when switching from shore to generator power w/o interruption. I did need help with one question and the help line solved my question quickly. I would never be without one.

We will keep purchasing and selling this product

The customer service was great when we had a faulty unit. The sent us a new one as soon as defect was figured out.

Great low profile & rack mountable UPS.

I have stopped buying other brands of UPS product. This stuff always works. Priced well. Plenty of options. This is a great space saver in your rack.

Good customer support.

We have several of these, and recently 2, have failed. The customer support was great, and helped to smoothly replace them under warranty. Please remember to register when you purchase.

Good UPS but cannot login to web card

This UPS itself is really good. I like the Tripp Lites because they are not as deep in the rack as < the other brand>. I typically install these in a wall-mount rack that has very limited depth, so the Tripp Lites work better. The only issue, which for me is pretty major, is that the Web Card interface doesn't work with modern Java. You can still Telnet in and set up alert notifications, etc. via CLI, and that's what I finally had to do. But that's not the way I want to have to do it. The < other brand>'s interface works beautifully, but they are generally too deep. So I'm still looking for my permanent solution. But glad to have this one up and going.

Great product. Exactly what I expected.

This is replacing the one that we had, so it's exactly what I expected.

Great little UPS, needs a little more

Replaced 1U SchniederAPC with this model. So far, so good. It would've earned 5 stars if all six outputs were switchable, sadly only 1 outlet is switchable between on/off, to remote kill power. Good little UPS for the money, would have been much better if all outputs were switchable.

Excellent for powering switches in a small space

Would be better if NIC was included so monitoring device would easier. I installed this unit in a small cabinet high inside a warehouse area. Only way to monitor is with a lift and a laptop. Fine print informed me that the NIC was not included. Must be Ordered separately and cost more that the UPS. If NIC was included, easy 5 star.
