All Pro 1-V pedals are hand assembled with parts that are machined, rather than die-cast, notably, the ZERO Latency ZERO Backlash Drive Shaft. The drive shaft features eight aerospace-grade bearings, making it the cleanest and fastest in the world, taking Trick double pedals to a whole new level.

Other features include:
  • Split-Cam design, allowing adjustment of beater and pedal angles independently
  • Slide-Trac hoop clamp adjustment providing variable distance for the pedal from the kick drum
  • Highly accessible and extremely easy to use tension adjustment knob
  • Multiple height adjustment cluster to adjust the stroke speed of the pedal
  • Internal compression spring technology

Pro 1-V double pedals can also be split into two individual single pedals, making them truly one-of-a-kind.

Fast, but a bit specialized

I love the build quality and the engineering behind these pedals. I also like how they've gotten rid of the springs on the outside. However, in the pursuit of speed, what they've done is focused the pedal so much on speed, it does not possess the ability to do anything other than loud and speed. It's absolutely great for that, and for a metal or rock drummer, it serves its purpose as good as any. However, I think it would be completely out of place for anything quieter - because its a short, compression spring instead of a tension spring system, you get increased resistance as you push down on the pedal, which means you counter by playing harder, and in turn, louder.
