Both channels sound terrific. The drive on the lead channel is outstanding with the attenuator. The detent levels on the attenuator can be a little tricky especially when playing guitars with varying output levels. Lots of gain but too quiet or not enough so you're cranking the volume, but it is magical when you get it dialed in just right. And, the fact that you can dial it in at a reasonable volume is awesome at home and in the studio. Rhythm channel is immaculate. It has a little more in the mids than my PRRI 12" which is a good thing for me. I've plugged in Gretsch, Fender, Gibson, and Rickenbacker and they all sound beautiful, but single coils and filtertrons really hit the spot. Reverb is perfect and trem sounds great (I think I might prefer my Fender trem but it's close). Had my eye on this amp for a while, and Sam Ash came through with great service despite being back ordered for a month or so.
