Comments about Selmer Ts711 Prelude Tenor Saxophone (Gold Lacquer):

The Prelude from Selmer is a great option for a student wanting to play tenor sax or for any one looking for a more affordable option. The sax has a quality feel from the keys and a nice resonant tone. The case that comes with the horn is also a solid case to for toting from gig to gig or home to school.

Comments about Selmer Ts711 Prelude Tenor Saxophone (Gold Lacquer):

This saxophone will be pleasing to the young or inexperienced musician. It is consistent and it is easy to learn with, as well as very affordable. A young student will like the neat bell engravement. The G#, Eb, low C keys are sticky; break them in by oiling them regularly. Upon purchase of the sax, I recommend purchasing another mouthpiece; another cheap student one will do, but the supplied one is very, very basic and should be replaced. Once you advance, you will want to upgrade, though. A great decision for an entry-level player who wants to get to know the instrument before making any expensive purchases, very affordable and durable enough for a child to take to school. Parents, this is highly recommended for a new young musician.
