At a 3/4-scale, the Baby Taylor Mahogany is the little Dreadnought that could. At the heart of it all is an authentic guitar sound and inviting playing experience. Taylor's ultra-portable travel mate belies its size with a sweet, full voice and great tone. Featuring a sapele layered back and sides and a solid mahogany top it's remarkably versatile for special applications, whether played in alternate tunings or high-strung, with a capo or a slide, however you use it, it's always fun to have one within reach.

The mahogany top delivers a slightly darker, earthier tone than a spruce top. The Baby Taylor Mahogany is designed to yield a ton of volume for its small size. The layered sapele back is pressed into a slight arch, providing strength and helping produce the Baby’s full, rich tone. The Baby Taylor Mahogany also loves little hands, which makes it an irresistible choice for kids. Taylor gig bag included.

Buy it and you won't regret it

The fit and finish on this guitar is very good. I really like the 3/4 size and how well it plays. The best part is the sound quality. I was initially worried about the look of the mahogany top, but it looks much better in person than the pictures; it's not as dark or streaky as it appears in the stock photo. I purchased despite this concern based on sound comparisons with others. The BT2 simply sounds better than the competition. This guitar met all of my expectations and maintains Taylor's reputation for quality guitars with fantastic sound. I would definitely purchase this again and highly recommend it to anyone considering a 3/4 size guitar.

Love at first sight!

The thing I love about this guitar is it's size. I have just started to play and I love that I can curl up on the couch and easily pick away. This guitar is so much fun to play I have a hard time putting it down. I have 2 small babies and I play when they sleep. The sound of this guitar is lovely and rich but much quieter than a full sized dreadnought. Perfect for my little house.
