Ziricote is a wood with a very nice character. Harvested from Central America ziricote is notable for its very lovely grain, which is clearly visible on the back and sides of this beautiful acoustic. The tone of ziricote is near rosewood, with increased lower midrange sound. The top of the GN90CE-ZC is a solid spruce, which produces brightly resonant sound from the NEX-sized cutaway body. Maple binding surrounds the body and a classy abalone inlay encircles the soundhole.
Top-Quality Design Features
This guitar just shouts quality. The mahogany neck is smoothly carved for playing comfort and is capped with a 20-fret laurel fingerboard sporting abalone dot inlays. The GN90CE-ZC also has some real cool vintage style open-gear butterbean tuners glistening in gold on the headstock, and the instrument is finished in gloss.
The GN90CE-ZC comes with some great electronics so you can plug in and play. Whether in the studio or gigging, the onboard preamp and pickup combo gives you all you need to sound great. Takamine's TP4TD electronics allow you to get the sound you want, when you want it.
