Vintage-style StingRay features meet affordability with the StingRay SR50 from Sterling by Music Man. Featuring the traditional StingRay shape, the body is made from African mahogany and comes dressed in your choice of Black or 3-Tone Sunburst finishes. The bolt-on maple neck is capped with a 12"-radius, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard for an unbeliveable playing feel while a pair of Ernie Ball Music Man Spec pickups produce those thick, creamy humbucker tones that the StingRay is famous for. Other features include an oversized 4+2 headstock with locking tuners, a redesigned control plate, an upper horn pickup selector toggle, and a Vintage tremolo. Case not included.

Built for Style and Sound

It's hard not to feel like one of the coolest guys in the room with one of these bad boys in your hands. The sleek and jazzy vintage design of the StingRay SR50 is sure to attract potential buyers looking for something to update to an intermediate level of playing, with special interest going to the guitar's body being made of African mahogany. The bolt-on neck and bulky tuners could potentially turn-off vintage purists, but they'll be missing out on an affordable deal that's been thoughtfully updated. The Ernie Ball Music Man Spec humbuckers will at least be worth looking into for fans of heavier tones. This is a Sam Ash employee review.

The Stingray SR50 is a fantastic guitar, very reasonably priced, coming in 2 stylish colors. This guitar is known for making rich tones that carry your playing and touches the emotions of listeners. The SR50 is a steal for the price listed and is a notch above other guitars in it's price range! Definitely worth getting and trying out! Very happy with my purchase.

Unique guitar with great feel!

This guitar feels absolutely incredible to play. Great feeling weight and fretboard, you can fly over this guitar without thinking twice. Both the available finishes are killer looking, you can't go wrong! Pick yours up today!
