This sleek axe is designed to play fast, accurately, and powerfully. Featuring the iconic John Petrucci signature design, premier shredding specs, and dual humbuckers, this guitar is perfect for the JP fan or anyone who wants to play at his level.

Iconic John Petrucci Signature Design
The JP60 is designed after the iconic JP6 – John's first signature guitar with Ernie Ball Music Man. This lustrous axe is shaped from basswood into a double cutaway design, with contours for comfort. The neck is cut from hard maple and sports a 25.5" scale length and rosewood fingerboard.

Premier Shredding Specs
Looking cool and playing great are two things you can count on when it comes to JP signature guitars. The JP60 has 24 medium jumbo frets, so you can fly across the fretboard, and Custom JP inlays so you'll always hit the right note. It's even got a JP Shield logo inlayed at the first fret and John's signature on the headstock. For the utmost playability, this guitar has a modern tremolo bridge and die-cast locking tuning machines, allowing you to add dynamics to your shredding without losing proper intonation.

Dual Humbuckers
Powerful and heavy, these humbuckers give you all the high-end tone and low end rumble you hear in John's music. His inspiring brand of progressive metal spans from cleaner echoes, to overdriven chugs, and you can do it all with the JP60. The three-way toggle pickup selector coupled with individual volume and tone knobs, allows you to adjust your sound to your specifications.

Seemed good, but letting it go

3

Floating bridge proved too much for me to re-string and then re-tune, I don't believe I can ever get it in tune again. The high E string easily falls off the frets over the edge, mostly near the headstock frets. Bridge pickup is pretty good for high gain. Other than that I was a bit disappointed in the sounds of the guitar. Neck has a very very thin amount of coating on the back, but it is nearly unfinished and smooth. Mine had a definite brown marking on the neck that I did not appreciate. A Sterling quality assurance sticker did not survive desert heat and I had to use chemicals to remove the sticker's adhesive, it left a mark. Overall I am not happy with this purchase, I won't be playing it again.
