The Squier Vintage Modified Stratocaster delivers timeless Strat tone, style and feel at a very affordable price.

The Squier Vintage Modified Stratocaster Electric Guitar gives you all the vibe, tone and feel that put the Strat on the map back in 1954. This Stratocaster sports a basswood body with the legendary ‘comfort contour’ design that was way ahead of its time. The body is outfitted with a trio of single-coil pickups specially designed by Seymour Duncan to deliver those bell-like, bright Strat tones that were the driving force behind an endless list of guitar legends. A white 3-ply pickguard accompanied by a set of vintage style knobs give the Vintage Modified Stratocaster that classic, timeless look.

The Vintage Modified Stratocaster sports a traditional maple neck that is also equipped with the modern features that today’s players demand. The neck boasts a rosewood fingerboard with a flatter radius of 9.5” with 21 medium-jumbo frets which makes for effortless, clean string bending. A vintage style synchronized tremolo completes the package. The headstock is carved into the iconic late-60’s large headstock which the Stratocaster featured throughout the 1970’s. Case not included.

  • Tinted maple neck with "C"-shaped profile and 21-fret rosewood fingerboard
  • Three Duncan Designed SC-101 single-coil pickups with five-way switching
  • Aged white control knobs
  • Vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge
  • Vintage-style tuners

Had an older electric that needed new pickups. Purchased the Squier instead of upgrading. It was the right choice. The guitar is very playable, the setup and finish are excellent and the tone is great even with a Fender Champion 20W amp. Very pleased with the Squier. Donated the old guitar.

Hey. It's a stratocaster

Had an older electric that needed new pickups. Decided to buy the Squier instead of upgrading. Turned out to be a good choice. Plays well, good tone even with a Fender Champion 20 amp. And, the finish and set up were excellent. For the money, the Vintage Modified Stratocaster is a winner.

Wow. Just wow!

I read reviews before I ordered mine. It's everything others elsewhere have said. I ordered the Vintage Blonde. It's that white but yellowish aged tint like butter I was looking and hoping for. it's fit and finish are unbelievable at any price. It's perfect. It's like it was made for me. The tuners are split with concave knobs. The sound and feel couldn't be made better. I'm extremely happy with this purchase. Squier has made me a convert. You should look at the vintage modified's before you pull the trigger on anything else.
