The Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster is based on the original iconic guitar design that changed the electric guitar forever, as well as altering the course of popular music history. A few updated features are added to create a perfect combination of traditional style and modern playability.

The Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster boasts a pine body that has a similar aesthetic and resonance as ash. Two custom vintage-style alnico III magnets single-coil pickups deliver that famous unmistakable Telecaster tone. A traditional one piece maple neck is amber-tinted to give off a vintage aesthetic. The maple fingerboard sports a slightly flatter 9.5" radius and medium-jumbo frets which facilitate effortless string-bending that modern players love. Case not included.

Features:
  • Maple neck with "C" profile and 21-fret maple fingerboard
  • Dual custom vintage-style single-coil Telecaster pickups
  • Three-way pickup switch
  • Vintage-style string-through-body Telecaster bridge with three brass “barrel” saddles
  • Black pickguard

Amazing Value!

5

I was more of a Strat fan than a Tele one; I own a Mexican Strat. However I kept hearing nothing but good things about the CV Tele and I love the Butterscotch Blonde finish with the black pick guard. So I bit the bullet and ordered it; I was a little wary because it was made in China, but I got a Gretsch last year that was also made in China and it was incredible. I was not disappointed, I just hope Fender keeps making these Classic Vibe guitars. They are truly an incredible value. Go buy one now!

Awesome Guitar, way to go Fender!

This was a used purchase. the only thing that needed some attention was the setup. Some fret buzzing fixed with a few tweaks. Other than that this guitar plays great, looks great and feels great. Nice job by Fender with this 50's vibe setup.

Great quality guitar at a really good value

This is my first Tele and I was really excited to finally be able to afford a new guitar that was actually quality. I got sold on the Squire brand with a used J Mascis Jazzmaster and really loved that guitar so gave this one a chance. The sound is exactly what I was looking for and other than the loose jack (easy 5 second fix) the craftsmanship is excellent. It did have some fret buzz with the stock setup but with a few minor adjustments it is playing well all over the fretboard.

Just go ahead and get it.

I've not sat and played guitar this much in years. Picked up after seeing all the amazing reviews on YouTube about this being a perfect blend of quality and price for a non-professional musician. I play at home and at church and think this CV Tele is a great fit. For the price, especially, I don't have to worry about it getting a scratch or chip and losing all of its value.

Love my Classic Vibe '50's Telecaster!!!

5

I have a Fender Standard Tele, sunburst but had to have a Butter Scotch Blonde Tele. Looked at the Fender FSR but it feels and sounds like my Standard Tele so I tried the Fender Squier Classic Vibe '50's and Love IT! Totally different tone and feel from my standard and that's what I wanted. Now I have both the classis Butter Scotch Tele and the Sunburst Tele both by Fender!!! The Classic Vibe BSB is just gorgeous. I put #10 strings on it.. Stays in tune, loves different settings on the amp. Joy to play and record with . Excellent Guitar! Classic

Great guitar!

I cannot think of an application where I don't use this if I am playing electric. I have several more expensive guitars but this is my favorite. I added a four way switch and advise y'all to do the same you won't be sorry. I'm leaving the pickups alone. May not be the hottest but the tone is killer! Binding is painted on. Mine is flawless so I don't care. Enjoy.

Great Sound/Looks - Worst Tuning Pegs

1

I loved the look and sound of this guitar. The problem I encountered is that the tuning pegs are total junk. When I got the instrument home I took off the light weight 9s and planned to put on a set of 10s. I was not able to string this guitar. Trust me, I have been playing guitar for 30 years and have a nice collection of Gibsons and Fenders and know how to string many types of instruments. After 30 minutes I gave up trying to string this guitar. I will buy after market tuning pegs/gears and it will be an excellent instrument. Until then, the guitar is NOT USABLE.
