With versatile sound and easy playability, as well as eye-catching finishes, this Telecaster is a great way to dip your toes into the electric guitar pool.

Three-ply White/Black/White Pickgard
The authentically styled three-ply white/black/white pickguard is a stylish touch.

Six-Saddle Top Load Bridge
A top load bridge creates a slightly "slinkier" feel by reducing the break angle of the strings over the saddles. The six individual saddles can be adjusted for precise intonation along each string.

Two-Color Headstock Logo
The elegant gold and black two-color headstock logo lends a touch of class to this instrument.

  • Maple neck with “C”-shaped profile
  • 21-fret maple fingerboard
  • Vintage-style single-coil Telecaster pickups with three-way switching

love these sguires

i think the sguire guitars are a great value , they play nice and look good . this guitar is a great starting point for a beginner without breaking the bank . i am very glad to own this guitar and would buy sguire again . i also own a sguier hot rails strat which i love also . they are guitars i myself can grow into and one day make that purchase of an american fender strat . i would recommend the sguire line of guitars to anyone who like this style of guitar . thanks sam ash for your great service , low prices , and huge inventory .

I definitely recommend.

I bought this guitar because I wanted to start playing again and I wanted something affordable. I've always trusted Fender quality and that still holds true and you can't beat the Telecaster look.

Butterscotch Tele is the bomb.

I bought a Fender Squier Tele from Sam Ash, and it is a bargain! The frets needed a bit of finishing, then I tuned it up, and off to the races. Very nice, looks and sounds great. Maple neck like butta, yo. Thanks!

Questionable, but expected

I purchased a guitar that was listed at discounted, but the only photo posted was a stock image. Obviously, I had an idea of what I was getting myself into. The item arrived with some pretty severe damage, but it did not effect that usability of the instrument. It would have been nice to know beforehand though. Still love my purchase!

Excellent value in a Telecaster

No lie, this guitar is a really great value in its price point. Shipping is almost instantaneous. The guitar arrived FedEx (thank God! - UPS is an insurance fraud) packaged as good as possible with cardboard and Styrofoam. The guitar is set up and intonated very well and it is very playable right out of the box after the strings settle in. (It's shipped strung but not tuned to pitch). I'm an acoustic player so it took a while to adjust my attitude to the guitar: left hand doesn't need to be a vice grip and the pick needs to be a LOT more supple (.5 or thinner). I'm finding that the tuners are a bit sloppy and might replace those. They'll do for now. Very impressive guitar for the money. It sounds exactly like a Telecaster: it's unforgiving, the bridge pickup slices like a laser and Ghost Riders in the Sky sounds exactly like it should. (I got the 2-tone sunburst). Highly recommended.

Excellent guitar for the money

Lots of bang for the buck

This is a very good Telecaster for the money. Opened the box and found it securely packed and in perfect condition. I usually cut the strings, restring and set the action on my new guitars but I am satisfied with the feel and sound as is after initially tuning and adjusting the tone. This little baby barks nicely on the bridge pickup and has a nice, solid feel for soloing (running scales, articulation, etc.). I purchased the 2-Color Sunburst with Maple fretboard model and I think it's a real beauty that also sounds and plays well. I also like how they designed the jack differently from the "inset" style. I owned a Fender Tele that cost about a grand that always gave me fits in that area (jack kept pulling out with the plug). For someone looking for a tele on a budget this is unquestionably a great buy. Looks good, plays well, sounds great. And, it doesn't break the bank! Get one and see for yourself.

Affinity Tele I'm Happy I bought it

I got the Affinity Tele in Lake Placid Blue and I'm very happy I got it. When trying to decide if I should get it I thought how good could it be for what they are charging. I read all of the reviews and decided to buy it and I'm glad I did. It sounds great, the setup was perfect, it feels great and the paint and finish look great. I'm so happy with it that I'm now thinking of getting a Squier Bass to go along with it.

Excellent Value and Tone

My experence with this guitar model has been excellent. The finish and tone are as good as a Fender Tele. I enjoyed the tone and feel of the guitar so much I bought a second for my daughter who is a muscian. The second one had a few imperfections and Sam Ash Online exchanged it no questions asked. The third one was also flawless. The neck is fast, pickups signature tele and the first and third were set up properly from factory. Both the ones I purchased had the sunburst finish and the wood was matched nicely with a beautiful grain. Amazing value for the price. You wont be disappointed.

well it was easy to set up. cant put the ac tion as low as i wanted but close enough. i really like the feel of it. as soon as i get a noise reducer pedal, i will be playing it alot at church, on songs that are mostly clean channel. i give it a 7.5 out of 10. and the price is right!
