The Squier Affinity Series Jazz Bass V is 5-strings of raw bass power at a really great price. Great for players just beginning their 5-string bass journey, this Affinity Series instrument sports classic Jazz Bass style, exceptional features, and hard-hitting Jazz Bass V pickups.

Classic Jazz Bass Style
The Fender Jazz Bass is about as well known a bass model as there is. It's given bassists in every corner of the music world all the low-end they can handle while maintaining excellent playability. This Affinity Series Jazz Bass V continues that legacy at a highly affordable price, and with an extra string for plenty of added thump. The alder body of the bass is carved into classic Jazz Bass style. The maple neck is "C" shaped and capped by a Indian laurel fretboard with 20 medium jumbo frets. Overall, it's such a well-made instrument that it makes it hard to put it down.

Exceptional Features
This Jazz Bass V is adorned with exceptional hardware, giving you more bang for your buck. The bridge is 5-string standard vintage-style with single groove saddles. The die-cast mini tuners are made from chrome, as are the dome-style control knobs while the body is completed with a 3-ply white pickguard.

Hard-Hitting Jazz Bass V Pickups
These pickups boom with low-end flavor, just like Fender intended. There's a standard single-coil Jazz bass pickup in the bridge and a single-coil Jazz Bass pickup in the neck. Both are designed to afford great, solid bass sound. They are controlled by a volume knob for each individual pickup, and a master tone which will adjust both.

Good overall quality from Fenders budget line!!

Beautiful finish, good overall setup and construction. Fret edges were a little rough, but that's expected in this price range. A little filing and polishing and this 5 string plays great! Good setup from the factory for a Squier! Intonation was spot on!!
