Brian ended his day in the Sam Ash Studio by taking us through his Wampler Faux Tape Echo Delay. This is the newest version in the line. It has the same delay engine as the others but with the addition of soft relay bypass switches, which Brian tells us are a better version of true bypass switching. The new Faux has top jacks now to help save us some space on the pedalboard, as well as a subdivision toggle switch to go along with your tap tempo. To top it all off, the Faux Tape Echo has an option for modulation if you want to add a little sparkle to your tone. This is set with 2 knobs – Rate and Depth – which can also be dialed to zero for a nice clean delay tone. Listen to Brian’s great playing examples as he takes you on a tour of his Wampler Faux Tape Echo Delay.
