Father and Daughter- Paul Simon

The Living Years – Mike + The Mechanics

Our relationships with our fathers  can be complicated but when they’re gone we wish that there was just a little more time to understand that maybe they loved us and we loved them much more than we ever realized in the living years.

Just The Two of Us – Will Smith

Originally written about a couple, Will Smith puts his own spin on an old song, rapping over samples about the love a father has for his first son, the boy who made him a father.
