The Sam Ash family joins the entire musical community in mourning the loss of Rose L. Shure, Chairman of Shure Incorporated. An announcment from Shure CEO Santo LaMantia stated that Mrs. Shure passed away peacefully at her home.
Mr. LaMantia went on to say that “For more than 60 years, Mrs. Shure served as an inspiration to us all. She was a role model for Shure’s Core Values. It was important to her to carry on the basic principles, created by her husband, that have guided our Company for more than 90 years. Business integrity, respect, and fair treatment for all were her motivators.”
“While the death of Mrs. Shure is cause for sadness, a life as bountiful as hers is also a cause for celebration. Hers was a life of caring, giving, and one that enriched us all. We have had the privilege of working with a truly extraordinary person. Our Company, our Associates, and many charitable and cultural organizations have benefited from her thoughtfulness and generosity. I am confident that she will continue to endure in our hearts and in our minds.”
