Hohner Super 64 and Super 64X Performance Chromatic Harmonicas: Everything You Need to Know

In a small instrument, design and balance are key to creating the full, voluminous sound you’ll find in the Hohner Super 64 and Super 64X Performance Chromatic Harmonicas. Bringing innovation to the table, Hohner has brought out the best in these instruments to ensure they will exceed expectations in supplying all your performance needs.

Smooth and Adjustable Spring System

In addition to their stainless steel construction, these chromatic harmonicas have smooth, airtight, SilentSlide action. Featuring the VarioSpring system, both models allow you to individually adjust the slide spring tension as needed with ease. A high-end coating is applied to finish off each sleek instrument for an astonishing look that complements its smooth playability.

Comfortable Design

The well-balanced design of the Performance Series is shaped for optimal playing comfort. Double thickness brass reed plates give way to a massive volume boost, so you can get the most out of the 4-octave tonal range (C3-D7). Even when playing acoustically among other instruments, you’re sound is sure to be heard. Enjoy a further extended volume lift across the entire range with the Super 64X. If speed is what you need, the comb in both models has been optimized to give you the fastest possible response.

Keeping Endurance in Mind

Constructed with endurance in mind, both covers attach separately. The reed plates are attached to the comb with their own screws so you can custom tune as you’d like without worrying about the reeds falling out.
