If you’re a fan of the Ibanez Tube Screamer, we highly recommend taking the PLUSH Cream II for a spin! Andy Fuchs took his favorite aspects of the Tube Screamer and tweaked them to his liking to make a great pedal for anyone looking to get those classic, smooth overdrive tones with some extra added features. For instance, it’s a little quieter and there’s a shape switch that can make its tone either aggressive, have more traditional compression, or a darker compression. A nice little feature is that it can run up to 18 volts of power should you want to change the tone with the amount of voltage in the pedal. It’s also worth noting the Extreme Cream II, which is two Cream II pedals in one so you can switch between two of your favorites overdrive settings with the tap of a button!
