Takamine has boldly developed renowned acoustic models, from classical nylon strings, to folk-rockin’ acoustics. This 12-string sports an excellent Takamine build, Pro Series appointments, and high-class electronics. This acoustic is ready, willing, and able to fill any room with gorgeous, resonant tone.

Excellent Takamine Build

The P3DC-12 is constructed from charming tonewoods, formed into the legendary dreadnought shape. It boasts a solid cedar top, supported by sapele back and sides. The neck is cut from rich mahogany and capped with a rosewood fingerboard, for smooth playability.

Pro Series Appointments

Built to play excellently and last a lifetime, the P3DC-12 has top-notch X bracing supporting the body. For supreme aesthetics, Takamine outfitted this guitar with ivory binding, dark purfling, and a concentric ring rosette with wood marquetry. The quintessentially Takamine split-saddle bone bridge provides flawless intonation. Topping it all off are gold tuners with amber buttons and a natural satin finish.

High-Class Electronics

The sweet sounds of the P3DC-12’s 12-strings can be perfectly conveyed through a PA, thanks to the CT4B II preamp. The electronic system has a 3-band EQ with volume control and built-in tuner. Whether recording or playing live, the Takamine P3DC-12 is up to the task.
