Well friends, we’ve finally arrived! No longer do affordable, professional headphones have to feel and sound affordable. The Sennheiser HD 280 Pro are built well, feel comfortable, look stylish and most importantly, they sound simply phenomenal! Designed to last and fortified with some useful features, the sturdy yet comfy Sennheiser HD 280 Pros deliver a pro-quality listening experience at a reasonable price.

The collapsible, rotatable earcups fully enclose around the earlobe making for a snug, tight fit. These do a fantastic job of isolation, keeping extraneous noise out of the picture. Use them to track critical vocals while keeping out room sounds or fighting feedback. Drummers delight in their isolation as they play to the click track or pre-recorded mix and not feel hampered by the loud thwacking just below their ears. The backs are closed so as not to annoy others by keeping headphone leakage to a minimum. This also makes the HD 280 Pros a fine choice for DJs who demand quality on a night in, night out basis.

They’ve got a single-sided, coiled cable with 3.5 mm mini jack and locking 1/4" adapter so you can adapt to the input jacks around you. They sport a high 102 db SPL due to the powerful neodymium magnets. A high-quality coiled cable rounds out the list of features.

The Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones have a frequency response of 8-25,000 Hz so you’ll hear everything in the mix and, along with your trusted studio monitors, be able to make the crucial, critical decisions that a professional mixer/artist or DJ needs to stay on top of their game. Everyone wins!

HD280 Pro Headphones

I was specifically looking for headphones in this price range. I'm not experienced in using headphones, but had no problem getting help in choosing a pair. They are a huge improvement over my last pair! They really block the sounds around my house (which isn't terribly noisy), especially if the TV is on. Good job Sennhieser!

Best Headphones

I would buy this product Again and again

Talk about sound quality in headphones, this is the one, no doubt, no second guesses, very comfortable, durable, flexible and sound like the an Angel playing a violin, definitely the perfect buy for a headphone.

Great headphones

Great studio headphones for the price. Flat sound does not affect the mix.

Great for drummers!

Using for charting complex prog rock drums. Have also used in recording studio. Love these headphones!

love the head phones

Just for fun listening around the house, they are great, I love them

Great Studio Headphones

I love these headphones. Great isolation for recording. For mixing, the HD 280's are by no means, a stand-alone replacement for good studio monitors. But, if you have any doubts about how something is sitting in your mix, these are a good quick reference which will either confirm or deny your suspicions quickly. An awesome tool, at an awesome price. The EQ curve is pretty flat on these. I find that these actually have good bass all the way down to the sub-bass frequencies, there is just no added emphasis on the bass (or any frequency for that matter. No "V" shaped consumer curve here). Great for double checking bass in a mix, as the bass is very detailed and clear. The highs are nice and crisp, not harsh at all. The Mid-range is where these headphones really shine though. Fanastic clarity and detail, which really helps, especially when double checking guitars and vocals in a mix. These are of all-plastic construction, but still feel very durable, and should last a long time if taken care of. OF NOTE: I have found many headphones tend to sound better at louder volumes. These headphones however sound better at moderate and even low volume. Couple that with the excellent isolation, and the result is far less ear fatigue during long sessions, and postponed requirement of hearing aids. GO GET A PAIR!!!
