great mic! awesome quality!
Had my sm 58 for 40 years and used it heavily. It was time to replace it. In a side by side new comparison, the Sennheiser e935 far outperformed the sm58 - much better specs and freq response. Rugged too. As familiar and reliable as the Shure has been, I'm pleased the Sennheiser was a significant upgrade although it is a lot more expensive - totally worth it.
A lot of research was done before selecting this microphone. I have used Shure SM 58's for over 30 years. The Sennheiser E935 dynamic features and actual audio performance is far superior than the SM 58. As well, it is a great recording dynamic mic.
Game changer. Old sm58 still in my bag, as strictly a backup option. Ignore the youtube reviews. Hardly any of them do this item justice. Buy it, use it at a show. Then thank me after!
I use this microphone because my voice was to weak, and could not be heard over acoustic guitar when playing. I plug this micophone into my Fishman amp and leave guitar natural. The microphone picks up enough of guitar so it works out very well.

Just bought this mic a few days ago and it is wonderful! No doubt this is the best mic we have ever owned. Everyone sets the shure SM58 as a standard. They are tough and sound ok but let's move on. The e935 blows that thing out of the water! I've tried beta 58's, EV N/D767's , and the EV N/D367s which is designed especially for female vocals. They are good mics but the e935 far surpasses them all. It is great for male or female vocals. Crystal clear and plenty of punch. It's just so crisp. I am very pleased with my purchase and plan to replace all my mics with more of the e935's. Get yourself one or two and you'll be glad you did!
The Sennheiser E935 is a great quality vocal mic, and is the step up from its little brother the E835. The capsule is extremely clear and warm and reproduced most any style of vocal extremely well. I have used these mics live a number of times and every time I am happy with the result. definitely get an E935 and give it a shot, This is a real hands on product review from [email protected] Sam Ash Indianapolis
When I started performing I had no clue as to how important Gear choices were. I though you bought things cause they looked cool or because that guy used it. After no being happy with the sound of my voice for years, as most singers are Im sure, I found that the right mic can make all the difference. I tried a E835 first and used it on the road for a couple years and was very pleased with the mic, I just needed a bit more range and punch from my mic. I had heard about the E935 but didnt have the money when I bought my E835. Well, when I had the extra money, turns out it made me smile. Its a great budget friendly mic that packs a pros punch.
