The PRS SE Chris Robertson Electric Guitar is a freight train of sound with looks as sweet as a cherry.

Modern looks with just a hint of vintage inspiration make up the incredibly powerful PRS SE Chris Robertson. Black Stone Cherry's Chris Robertson knows good tone, and this guitar has great tone incorporated into every aspect of it. Originally only available in England, it's finally making its way over the United States due to such a high demand. After Chris and PRS were receiving messages for a U.S. release, they finally went ahead and decided to unleash this monster of a guitar in the U.S. The unique pickup configuration makes the SE Chris Robertson really stand out from the rest while the classic tonewood combo of mahogany body with a maple top and chunky mahogany neck feed off of each other equaling an exceptional guitar. The SE Chris Robertson is a furious-sounding guitar perfect for players that enjoy both vintage sounds and modern, high-output tones.

A Mountain of Tone
Boasting a truly distinctive and versatile pickup configuration, the SE Chris Robertson is the first to feature the 57/08 "S", which is slightly hotter than the original. This guitar is the first one to feature the 57/08 "S", which is slightly hotter than the original. The pickup is modeled after 1957 humbuckers so it has a ton of bite, and it's capable of serving up a very aggressive sound while retaining classic tonal qualities. The neck pickup is an SE Soapbar, which Chris was inspired to use because of guitar legend Leslie West from hard rock band, Mountain. The Soapbar gets a really round, fat sound, especially when cranked.

The Timeless Tonewood Combination
Mahogany was tonewood of choice for the Chris Robertson SE Standard because of its articulate and warm tones. The Black Stone Cherry Burst makes the flame maple veneer look really outstanding while the maple top provides a good amount of high-end punch. The body is also outfitted with a PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge for unparalleled performance, sustain, and tuning stability.

Thick Tones from a Thick Neck
Because of its wide fat-mahogany neck being paired with the mahogany body, you get the ideal amount of sustain and comfort. The lightweight neck features a rosewood fretboard that comes fitted with 22 frets and showcases distinct PRS bird inlays. The headstock is topped off with a set of PRS Designed Tuners for precise, accurate tuning.
