I have 35 yrs. of guitar experience and have played professionally. I started taking classical guitar and music fundimental classes in college this year to increase my knowledge. I purchased a nice mid-priced classical guitar at my local Sam Ash, but it was lacking a voice like some of the same models, I had played in the past. (All guitars sound different, even the same model). I tried Savarez Crystal somethings and was pleased with the tone for a while, but I felt it could be better. The Savarez Alliance strings were the final step in making the guitar sound like I wanted it too. The tension and feel is perfect and these strings are noticably louder than the first set. The bass strings have a strong, crisp timbre and vibrate the wood well. The treble strings are clear and warm sounding all the way up the fret board. I highly recommend these strings for auditorium playing. They cost more but the upgrade is relatively inexpensive and the easiest to make.
