I've used samson airline 77 for years and needed to replace. I wanted something more economical. I use it to teach spin classes. The concert 88 sounds much better than the airline , but the battery pack and extra wires feel cumbersome after using the airline since it first came out. Also, the concert 88 is awful on battery life. I only got 4 hours of use before they died. The mic did shut off several times while using it, but perhaps that's because I had it in a spri running belt. I don't know. I'm considering returning for another airline, but I like the mobility of so many channels so I don't interfere with other mics in the facility. It's a good buy and sounds great. I just need to remember how to wire up ( I just ordered a new belt) and carry extra batteries. I would recommend it, but it's not as user friendly as the airline 77. I think it's a better option though if you teach impact classes. The airline would bounce off your head.
