Featuring a large, dual-layer 19 mm diaphragm with a cardioid pickup pattern, the C01 produces a smooth flat frequency response. Its two ultra-thin sensor membranes pick up far more detailed sounds than any dynamic coil. The result is a mic that captures accurate, detailed, and smooth audio with warm bass tones and extended top end. You'll hear the strings and wood of your guitar, the breath and resonance of a singer, or the brassy shimmer of a ride cymbal with crystal clear clarity. The C01's design includes a heavy gauge mesh grill, gold-plated XLR connecter, and an LED for monitoring its +48v of phantom power. It also comes with a swivel mount that can be attached to any standard mic stand. In addition, an optional SP01 Spider Shockmount is available for increased mic and sound stability. Perfect condenser microphone on a budget.

I needed to find an affordable condenser microphone to pair with a new audio interface I purchased for recording vocals and guitar. There's only been a few times in my life where a product met and exceeded my expectations and this was one of them. It's my first condenser microphone so I don't have much to compare it to, but this microphone does everything I imagined I'd want it to.

not good for vocals period!

the things that are good is once you setup/adjust your pitch volume and dont move it for a while it works but one you re-adjust it will never be the same and its been like that for me i never got it right always got bass vocals everytime

Price does'nt matter. Sound does.

Hands on. I purchased a rode nt1a and a akg 120 and we all know the price of the rode.The sound from the rode was too deep rather up close or away from the mic. The akg sounds too mechanical. Do not get me wrong,depending on what you are recording,there is a mic that will suit your needs.Need 1 the rode( singers with high voices) Need two the akg ( instruments ) But the samson puts out what you put in.It's accurate in every way.R&B,Country,Rap,Pop,Gospel,Guitar,Drums,whatever......... PRICE DOES'NT MATTER....SOUND DOES!!!!!!
