I'm a Mobil DJ and used this subwoofer in a decent sized venue with approximately 100 people on the dance floor. The bass projected very well. I also used this for a live band and performed very well. I'd like to get another one to column it with the speakers I use (Yamaha Stagepas 600i)

12" speakers aren't the biggest in the sub world, but this little guy delivers some serious thump. I was impressed with the clarity in the low end, no muddiness here. This sub really pumps! It is easy to set up and delivers a thump! It is a great size too for a sub and can easily be used in conjunction with a pre-existing system.
