use this super muffle gel for my drums in my condo apartment so the sound won't affect my neighbours sensitive ears when I practice.

you know what they are and what they do. they are a good solution to dampening over-ring. i have a brass snare that needs dampening in certain areas - specifically the left lug on the clamp side of my snare wires (no idea why). the moon gel allows me to get a small area without taking up a ton of play space. 1 or 2 will do the trick.

Moongel is easy to use and provides the perfect amount of overtone ring muffling! I normally cut the 6 pcs in half to give me double the amount. Depending on the size of drum and sound you are after, most of the time I stick one piece to the batter and resonate to give that controlled tone but still leaves enough open sustain. I have also used it on my ride cymbals for less wash and even my jamblock to eliminate that piercing tone helping to produce a solid cross stick sound. I've used it for years. Good stuff!

Great Moon Gel! Works really well and they are really affordable! I really love to use these on my bass, Floor Toms, and Snares! Helps tighten up the sound coming from the lower tuned drums! Would recommend to everyone who needs something to help their sound!
