I honestly got this mainly for a practice amp at home (most practice amps just don't sound inspiring), with the possibility of using it as backup for small gigs in case my Phil Jones rig(also bought at SamAsh) ever fails or needs repair. It's a big deeper than I expected, but I love its sound. I love the switch for 4 and 8 Ohm selection, especially since I'm using it with a 4 Ohm Eden head so that extra versatility is very much welcome as I see myself buying another of these in the future. Regarding the cabinet itself, I know Hartke doesn't get as good rep as Aguilar, Phil Jones, Markbass, and other brands do but, honestly, if it's good for Victor Wooten, it's plenty good for me. And this is the high end of the spectrum in Hartke's cabinets. Plus, every time I used to go (back in the days when you could play shows) to a venue and saw a Hartke rig I'd be like "alright, Hartke." Then I'd plug in my bass and be like "holy cow, Hartke!!!" So that's why I bought this. You can't beat it for the price, and I'm incredibly happy with it!
