The bench is very well constructed. The handles that turn take some extra cranking to get it to go down, but to me that just means it won't be slipping when you sit on it. My pianist LOVES this bench. I would definitely buy it again

Not much you can say about a bench right? Incorrect. Yes tough durable wooden construction. Yes comfortable foam padding. But when you see the construction of the elevating mechanism you understand the difference. This is top quality workmanship in a disposable age.

This is a great upgrade to the cheap benches you get with some pianos. Very cushy and comfy if you're just playing or if you're teaching for hours. I'd say it's best suited for individuals or an adult and a child.
