I am a guitarist who also plays synthesizers. I went into Sam Ash describing to the salesman what I was looking for and he suggested I try the Roland Juno DS61. Roland has always been a pioneer in this field and after playing around with it for about 15 minutes I was sold. The Juno DS61 has all the classic synth sounds of the 80's, 90's, pipe and cathedral organs and so much more. I programmed my favorites along with the effects of my choice and couldn't be happier. I was expecting to pay a lot more than I did and I am truly excited to add it to my home recording studio. I highly recommend it, it's light, versatile, easy to use and runs on batteries as well. You can use in stereo with monitors or in mono with an amplifier. There are many features to this unit and it will definitely put a smile on your face. Try one and experience for yourselves..
Exactly as described. Fast delivery
Using as both as synth and workstation for recording. Really enjoying the versatility.
I bought this synth for performing, and was pleasantly surprised by the versatility it provides. It's like it has it's own internal DAW, which is somewhat similar to other synths, but pretty easy to navigate. I, personally, like the feel of the keys. I have yet to connect it to my DAW, but I'm planning on producing with it during this quarantine.
Excellent service. i found what i was looking. i recommend it.
My 15 year old workstation, that cost 3x the price of the Juno DS, was showing it's age. I searched for a small footprint synth with quality sounds. The Juno did not disappoint. Great piano, organ, brass, and synth sounds at a modest price. The materials and construction are not as rugged as higher priced gear, but the Juno certainly fits the bill for my live performance and recording needs.
The Juno 61 has the same killer engine as the DS 88 in a smaller more lightweight package. The key are not weighted but have fantastic response. It's packed with tons of amazing samples including analog synth sounds and acoustic samples; you have a four channel mixer for adjusting levels on rhythm patterns, two voices (if you're splitting the keyboard), and the microphone input. This is the keyboard I would choose for live performance to integrate with my current analog mono synth rig!! This is a Sam Ash review.
Drawing from Roland's advanced SuperNATURAL engine and the Juno lineage, Roland has created a faithful modern stage synth. With controls that are more minimalist in nature than generations previous, users can focus on performance and get to playing quickly. 8 drum pads allow for sequencing and loops to use as a tool during production or on stage. The sounds are so real that it almost seems unreal with the quality of sound at this price point. The 61-key model comes in a smaller more manageable package without skimping on any of the audio quality.
