Makes your RIC bass sound like the day you bought it again.
My go to strings for my basses are D'Addario nickel plated steel EXL 170's. I like their soft feel and growly round wound tone and they are easy on my frets. These RIC 95511 strings came stock on my November 2019 4003. The bass had such a perfect setup from the factory that I didn't want to ruin a good thing so instead of using the D'Addario's, I purchased a couple packs of these. 95511's. Each pack was almost 10-12 beef franks more in cost more than the price of the D'Addario's which made me a little hesitant to buy them at first but after putting a set on my bass and hearing the tone of a fresh pair, I knew it was the right choice. I like the softer tension feel of the strings (very similar to the D'Addario XL's) on the Rickenbacker, and the narrower width 75w and 55w, A & D string's actually seems to make bends a little easier. My set up remained perfect! I like 'em.
