Built with a Beautiful Slab of Walnut
The W Series features beautiful cuts of walnut, showcasing the wood's natural color and grain. This Rickenbacker 4003W has a double cutaway body, with classic Rickenbacker style. The neck is a nice maple, with a maple fingerboard. The 4003W sports neck-through construction, for incredible sustain, a lovely aesthetic, and smooth, resonant tone.

Amazing Rickenbacker Craftsmanship
With exclusive and expert craftsmanship, Rickenbacker spares no detail on their instruments. Each spec on the 4003W is made to give this bass incredible playability and fun style. The light maple fretboard is lined with 20 frets and unique triangle inlays – a design you definitely don't see every day. It's also got a RIC bridge and tailpiece, as well as Schaller tuners, adding to this bass's motif and giving it rock-steady tone.

Two Smooth-Sounding Single-Coil Pickups
The electronics on this bass are no joke. Outfitted with two single-coil pickups, the bridge pickup is surrounded by a metallic guard, while the neck pickup is centered in the uniquely-styled pickguard. Two volumes and two tone knobs, along with a three-way selector switch, let you find your ideal tone. This bass also has stereo capability, with dual output jacks.

A Work of Art

This bass guitar is a work of art. It's pleasing to the eye, has wonderful tone options, buttery action, high quality electronics and plays beautifully. My only complaints are that there is no one volume knob (there are separate volume controls for each pickup), and that it doesn't sound as good on "slap" tones as my Jazz Bass. Other than that, I highly recommend this bass.
