Back after a nice hiatus and truly better than ever, this Rickenbacker 5-string thumps! Featuring a wild vintage style, a re-engineered single-coil pickup Design, and Schaller 3D-5 bridge, this bass is ready to be rocked. For the bassist looking for a high quality, retro designed 5-string.

Wild Vintage Style
This bass has some real funky style. Its vintage-shaped maple body is contoured for comfort, with a cutaway around the neck, so you can easily access every fret without issue. The pickguard displays interesting style, surrounding the neck pickup and taking a hard turn away from the bridge pickup, while curving around the control knobs. The pickups themselves have a triangle-esque shape and stealthy look. All of this is set-off by the rosewood fingerboard, which adds a warmer visual aspect to the cool style.

Re-Engineered Single-Coil Pickup Design
The return of the 4003S/5 features a re-engineered single-coil pickup design. Sporting single-coils in the neck and bridge position, these pickups are angled slightly outwards toward the B-string, to encompass a wider magnetic field. These unique pickups will grab all the bass you can handle from this old school 5-string.

Schaller 3D-5 Bridge
This revamped bass has slightly wider string spacing and a Schaller 3D-5 bridge to assure excellent tone and playability. The bridge saddles are designed to reduce string breakage and maximize tuning stability, as well as intonation. Each string saddle can be adjusted individually. Not to mention, it fits perfectly with the aesthetics of this instrument.
