This signature bass is anything but basic. Featuring awesome Reverend build, Mike Watt signature specs, and punk inspired low-end tone, this bass is a great option for the unique rocker who wants a high-quality instrument with both style and sound.

Awesome Reverend Build
The result of a long-running collaborative design effort between Reverend and Mike Watt, this signature bass has everything you could want in this style of instrument. Reverend's craftsmanship leaves nothing to be desired, consistently producing well-made, excellent sounding basses. This bass was crafted from Korina, a medium-light wood with great tonal qualities. It's shaped into a devilish double-cutaway design, with a large, rounded lower bout. The scale length of this guitar is a shorter-than-usual 30", giving it a more intimate feel. For excellent sustain and easy playability, it's got a 3-piece Korina set-neck, cut into a medium oval profile.

Mike Watt Signature Specs
Mike Watt is one of the founding members of The Minutemen, a San Pedro, California punk outfit that became legendary in the scene. He then went on to form fIREHOSE, play with numerous other musicians and projects, and release solo records. This bass has specs tailored to his frenzied punk playing, as well as some cool signature aesthetics. It comes complete with a Hipshot A Style bridge coupled with Hipshot Ultralight tuners, and has a super-strength custom round jack plate, a feature preferred by Mike Watt, which was made to withstand punk show chaos. This bass also features luminay side dot markers so you can find your positioning on a dark stage. To top it all off, the Wattplower has custom inlays - there's a first fret anchor inlay, a tribute to Mike Watt's father who was a sailor in the navy, and a 17th fret "Wattplower" inlay.

Punk Inspired Low-End Tone
Mike Watt's music is driven by a real nice low-end sound which is always very present in the mix. The Wattflower has a custom, proprietary Reverend P-Blade pickup, designed to achieve the best tonal match with the middle position. It features extended low-end response, 42-gauge wire, and a ceramic magnet. This Reverend, like all Reverends, comes with Alpha control pots, with a +/-10% rating, tighter specs than the +/-20% of many other stock pots. This signature bass will undoubtedly afford the killer punk tone Mike Watt is known for.
