The Reverend Airwave 12-String Electric Guitar boasts an awesome tonewood combination, featuring a double cutaway semi-hollow Korina body, capped with a solid Spruce top. A 5-piece korina/walnut neck has been carved into a comfortable medium oval profile with a 24.75” scale. The fingerboard is topped with 22 medium Jumbo frets and a 12”radius for extremely fast playability.

Electronics include a pair of Reverend-designed CP90 pickups that deliver traditional-style twang with a little extra kick. The bridge pickup is slightly hotter than a vintage P90. You get raw, classic tone with slightly less hum than most other P90’s. These pickups will cut through any setting with jangle to spare. These versatile pickups deliver great clean sound but can also deliver the goods with heavy distortion added. The Airwave 12-String possesses a tremendous range of tonal possibilities that could cover any gig.

The controls include a master volume, and a master tone, and a bass contour control. The bass contour is great for tightening up the low-end.  Chrome hardware includes Reverend pin-lock tuners, and a combination String-thru/top load bridge with adjustable independent saddles for each of the 12 strings. The Airwave 12-String Electric Guitar brings together classic styling with modern features, making it the perfect weapon for today's players. Case not included.

Beautiful guitar!

I've had the Reverend Airwave 12 in lovely Metallic Alpine for a week now, and I can safely say it's one of the nicest I've played. Certainly the nicest 12-string electric I've ever touched or looked at! It came pretty well set up, but I will probably take it in for a slight truss rod adjustment at some point. Not a big deal though, just personal preference of action/PU-string proximity. Looks completely flawless, really well-balanced and rewarding to hold and play. If I could make one change to it, I'd give each PU its own volume pot, but again, not a big deal. The switching options and bass contour knob give a really wide range of sounds. You can get an almost cocked-wah pedal sound, big, thick full chords, bright jangle, and biting, driven sounds with great ease. So far it has stayed pretty well in tune also, which is major for 12-stings. The last one I had (Dano Hodad) I spent most of the time I did with it trying to get it in tune. So far not having that problem, and that's without even having it professionally intonated yet! All in all the guitar feels solid, the construction is fabulous all around, I can't think of anything to complain about.
