The RainSong OM1000N2 Orchestra Model Acoustic-Electric Guitar is the smallest and most expressive guitar in the Classic Series. RainSong's Classic Series instruments were the first all-graphite acoustic guitars in the world! They are the original line of RainSong guitars, featuring their patented Projection Tuned Layering. Their Orchestra Model is the most refined of all RainSong shapes, providing a comfortable and intimate playing experience. The all-graphite construction makes this instrument resistant to changes in temperature or humidity, making it ideal for traveling musicians.

Projection Tuned Layering
The RainSong OM1000N2 features an all-graphite soundboard crafted using RainSongs Projection Tuned Layering technique. Projection Tuned Layering helps to increase the volume of RainSong guitars and the result is a warmer, richer bass which nicely balances RainSongs signature bell-like treble. The OM1000N2 has an amazing dynamic range, incredible tonal balance, and superb note clarity and articulation. Fingerstylists and flatpickers will love the RainSong OM1000N2.

Comfortable and Intimate Playing Experience
RainSong is proud to offer the N2 neck, an extensive collaboration between Rainsong, distinguished artist Steve Miller and Master Luthier John Bolin. Made of graphite and a composite fingerboard, the N2 neck features a design based on the old-school modified “U” profile, offering enhanced player comfort while optimizing the transfer of string vibration to the soundboard. A small, ergonomically curved body and lightweight design makes the OM1000N2 incredibly comfortable to hold, and an ultra-deep cutaway provides enhanced upper-fret access, great for players who enjoy exploring the entirety of the neck.

All-Graphite Construction
Wood is prone to warping and damage as a result of rapid humidity and temperature changes. An all-graphite construction makes the OM1000N2 resistant to those changes, making it an ideal instrument for a traveling musician. No need to worry about a change of sceneary causing the soundboard to crack or the neck to warp. Although graphite does not bow or warp with humidity and temperature changes, the N2 neck sports a headstock-accessible truss rod which allows for customization of the relief to suit players' individual preferences.

Sounds GREAT unplugged AND plugged in. Really good, clean bottom end from such a small box. Stays in tune, up & down the neck, with and w/o a capo, for days on end sometimes. Fishman preamp is sophisticated but user friendly, very fast to get where you want to go. No wood surfaces & uncanny light weight take some getting used to, but if you let your ears be the judge, this guitar sort of embarrasses a lot of more famous (and more expensive) competitors. I had never heard of Rainsong when i started shopping, but I ended up owning one because it sounded better than everything else I tried. The fact that it doesn't mind the weather or spending all day every day on a nearby guitar stand (so you can pick it up and play it every time you walk by) is just an added bonus. I'm primarily a bare hands, finger style player w/short nails, and this guitar loves that. It has no pick guard, so flat pickers will need to grab an after market, static cling vinyl guard. Nothing really wrong w/the case btw, just sort of typical considering how unusual & special the guitar is.
