Good guitar

Purchased this guitar about 4 years ago. I don't know what that guy with the intonation issue is talking about. I give it 5 stars for its price. The best thing about this guitar are the electronics. Superior quality when plugged in.

Yes !! For me a Home Run !

I play different guitars daily and also record which this one was recorded with unbeleiveable clarity.....I own two beautiful top of the line Steel 6 strings, Costing in the thousands each one and an late 80's 12 String Acoustic even this was over a grand and I wanted to now own a nylon string guitar to expand my acoustic side ( yes I do a bit of classical too, but did not buy just for that style ) ...this guitar fits all my playing sytles and just sounded so wonderful at this price range and I was acutally quite surprised against others that were at much higher price ..no issues on mine with intonation as noted in anothers input but I put on a good set of new strings first as I always do with a new guitar.. A plus note is the look and feel which are just amazing....I know the looks do not make a guitar sound good but when I am happy playing it shows and makes my time rehearsing, jamming or just writing seem to go faster and easier for me ..and this makes me happy, which as an artist is important and tops on my list of why I play and continue to play and buy more guitars.....I would recommend this for sure , but I did play a few other 630's before choosing mine, and only concern from others was minor issues like a small blemmish, all that I got my hands on played well and sounded great..and when I got mine home the sound was the same.....

All I have to respond to the previous comment and to all of those who are becoming musicians and for those who are -- know this: The guitar does not make the musician, the musician makes the guitar: This is the best of the best guitars I've owned ... it might not be a $3,000.00 dollar guitar but hey out of ALL guitars that I have a lot more expensive, this one is the Best out of the collection that I owe. So I am sorry but keep this in mind... the musician makes the instrument --- the instrument doesn't make a musician.

Very Disappointed

I was taken by this guitar's action and seemingly small size. While trying it out I thought there were some intonation problems, but the store was loud, so I bought it with a 30 day return. I owned it for two days. Back in my quiet apartment, I found the intonation was rather off, which I found surprising for a $[...] guitar. I brought it in for my free setup, and while it was much improved compared to out of the box, the G string still had terrible intonation, and the tech said that bringing it in further would cause action problems. But here's the kicker: While the guy was working on the guitar, I tried a few more 630's out, and they all had the same problem. Furthermore, I tried a $1200 Raimundo out, and sure enough, it too had terrible intonation! These guitars should be priced similar to carlo robelli, not yamaha or takemine. Needless to say, I returned it.
