Very good music chair.
I always have a great experience at Sam Ash Great people working there!!! A+ all the way
I purchased this on the advice of the Fender Play FB community and because I wanted a good quality seat which allowed me to have a good posture for practicing my bass. There is a reason this seat isn't cheap. It's solid made. Very comfortable and you can easily go hours practicing. Quite heavy (which is what makes it so solid). I wouldn't buy it if you are looking for something very portable you are taking with you to gigs, for example. It's easy to assemble. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because for the price, I would have hoped they would use a better plastic for the seat covering. Perhaps (one of these days) I will recover with something higher quality. Final verdict... if you want a comfortable practice stool with good back support for practicing your guitar at home AND don't mind the price, this is the chair to get.
I absolutely love this adjustable chair for guitar playing. I have back issues and sitting for a long time is very painful, but this chair alleviates a lot of that. I highly recommend Sam Ash and this chair!
After all the years of playing sitting in all kinds of different chairs :office chairs, stools, drummer thrones, padded seats, unpadded seats. I have finally found the chair for me especially in the studio. You can't beat it!
Great practice chair. Helps keep my posture correct. Comfortable
I went to Sam Ash to look for a hollow-body bass, because the bass I've been playing for decades is getting heavy and starting to hurt my back when I play. I didn't like the sound of any of the basses I tried until I got into a price range that was too high for me. I was about to leave, when I realized that the stool I was using to try the basses was really nice, and taking the weight off of my back (and feet), so I asked the salesperson if they sold the stools there. He said they did and they had one left (other than the one or two in use on the floor), so I bought it. It's very sturdy and easily adjustable -- the height of the seat and and back rest. They come off easily and it folds up (so that it's relatively flat). The only downside is that it's kind of heavy to carry, but that's because it's so solid -- so it's a trade-off. I would recommend this stool. (And it's a lot less expensive than a good bass.)
I was actually looking for a lighter bass than the one I have, not for a stool. I've been playing bass for decades, and it's just getting really heavy and starting to hurt my back. So I went looking for a hollow-body bass that would be lighter. I didn't like the sound of any that I tried until they started getting up into a price range that was about what I want to spend right now. However, while I was trying them out, I was sitting on this stool. After trying all the hollow-body basses, I was about to leave, when I stopped and said, "Wait -- do you sell these stools?" They had one left in stock (besides the one or two that were in use on the floor) so I bought it. It's very comfortable and very adjustable (the seat height and the back rest). Those two parts detach and it folds easily. The one downside is that it's kind of heavy to carry -- but, at the same time, that's also what makes it so solid and dependable; so it's a trade-off. I'm glad I bought it. (And it costs a lot less than a good bass.)
Love it. Comfortable and no more slouching when playing guitar on a stool.
Very comfortable and easy to set up. The foot rest is the right height for most styles. Only issue is the rubber feet tubes slide off rather easily. Be sure not to lose a piece in transit or at a venue. Overall excellent product at a good value.
