I have had 4 PRS's ( Santanna, SE24, older 245SE and an american made S2 24) and all of them needed new pups and all of them just never felt right (I did my best to adapt to them but to no avail). the electronics in the PRS SE guitars IMO have the worst tone for a guitar THIS WELL MADE. I sold every one of them and vowed I would never again buy a PRS SE. HOWEVER, (YIKES) when I saw this Zach Myers Trampas green guitar I just had to try it. To my surprise it felt O.K., looked great and of course... was very well made (maybe because it is made in Korea instead of Indonesia???) I also like the fact that Paul's name is on the headstock. HOWEVER, when I plugged it in... it sounded MUDDY and had no decent response. But...considering the price of this piece I decided I would buy it anyway and have some decent electronics, tuners, knobs and pups installed... I have had it a month now and as with all the other P.R.S SE's the tone is just not there and it sounds a little trebly unplugged (so i put a cloth in the sound hole, which helped a little). Also, I would much rather have a tremolo bridge...but that's my own personal taste but as stop bars go this is pretty good. I gave this a 3 star rating mostly because of the looks of it and the feel of the wide fat neck. I would have rated this piece higher if it stayed in tune at all or if the pups were decent and there was any decent tone available on these in stock pups. This is not my go to guitar but for the price, it's a good entry level guitar. I will recommend it to all my entry level students.
