The EarMix 16M features expandable, networked, high quality monitoring for stage and recording applications. You get 16 mono input channels via AVB networking. Daisy chain via the AVB Thru ethernet port to allow for an additional EarMix Mixer. Supporting up to 16 mix scenes locally, easily recall them with the easy to use interface. In addition, there is an Aux input on the back of each EarMix 16M Mixer for a media device like an iPhone or MP3 Player.

Customizable:
Having a high-quality mix is very important for a performer to deliver. With the EarMix 16, you have a loud, clear headphone amplifier that can drive low-impedance devices like a professional in-ear-monitor but not restricted to a particular impedance. The headphone amplifier is designed to work with a range of in-ears and headphones with different impedances. The easy to use interface allows the artist to set a mix exactly how they want using the on board EQ, Limiter and Pan knobs. They can then save their settings and recall them from the 16 other mix scenes available.

AVB Networking:
With an AVB network, you can connect digital audio devices over long distances using CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable and route your audio anywhere on the network with extremely low latency. AVB offers several unique benefits that make it a better choice for audio than other networking protocols. For example, AVB provides a high-precision clock that significantly reduces harmonic distortion and phasing, ensuring your audio stays clear and clean. AVB ensures you always have enough bandwidth to carry your low latency audio—even when your intern starts streaming a movie. These important benefits are an inherent part of AVB; you don’t need to do anything special to your devices or AVB switch. And you can only get them with AVB.

PoE - Power over Ethernet:
The Presonus EarMix 16M is also capable of PoE functions. PoE allows each mixer to be power via an ethernet cable. This helps avoid additional wires and provides a simple and quick set up. This also gives you more flexibility to where you can place the personal mixer because you do not need to worry about an external power supply. With the Presonus' SW5e five-port AVB switch, you can connect multiple EarMix16Ms to a AVB network and prove PoE to each mixer.
