I wanted a quality, inexpensive keyboard that produced various sounds of other instruments. I read many reviews on several brands of keyboards under $250. Casio was one of the few brands in that price range that included a power source. Although I was willing to spend up to $250 for a keyboard I kept coming back to this Casio model for under $130. The reviews were consistently 4.5 and 5.0. Sam Ash had one in stock in black so I took a chance. I ordered it and it was delivered the next day. I plugged it in to my mixer board and it worked perfectly. There was no background noise at all. I thought I would have to run it through a DI box to eliminate any hiss, but there was none. It has all the bells and whistles, literally, with 400 sounds it has bells and whistles. I am completely satisfied with it. It does not have weighted keys like my piano, but that isn't a problem at all.
