Pretty decent

They aren't the greatest however you can get 2 or 3 for the price of the next lowest stand. They're great for anything 16" or smaller. They're good for 17" and 18". They're ok for 19" and above wouldn't recommend.

Basic cymbal stand, no frills, lightweight.

Lightwieght, Low Price Convertible Boom

This is a lightweight, low price piece of hardware. i would recommend this to any musician working on a musician's budget. This stand is great for adding a splash, light crash or percussion accessory to your setup. Expand your setup witout breaking your budget. This is a real hands on review by Sammy @ Sam Ash Sarasota

Just Alright

I bought this stand and put my 18" Crash on it, it wobbled all over the place and the boom was not very sturdy. I took it back and upgraded to the next stand which is just $10 more and that stand was much better. This stand would be great for small, splash, cymbals, but nothing too big.

I've used all kinds of cymbals on this. It holds GREAT! It doesnt even wobble or tip over when i put my 20" Zildjian Medium Ride on it all the way out. Why buy the heavy duty stands when this is just as good!!

San Jose, CA

Great forthe price. i have a pearl cymbal grabber attached to it, extended ALL the way out, with an 18" china on it. on the main stand, i have a 16" crash, a cymbal stacker, and an 8" splash. then i have the rod mount for my block....it all holds together, no problems. it wobbles if i hit the china hard, but i like it that way. another good thing is it can be converted into a straight stand

Behind a drumset

good stand

It is a pretty good stand if you ask me, but I am new to drumming, so... I have a 20" ride on this thing, and it doesn't come loose when I'm playing AT ALL. It just does tend to wobble a little, but as long as it doesn't fall, it's good. I mean, things have their faults, right?

Hell of a stand!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a stand for only [$].Buy it it works!

Richmond, VA

Pretty good stand. I put a 18' crash on it. The boom rotates loosely. The bad side is: You can't jam on it too hard. The good: It's good for adjusting to other components of your set. Overall I would buy it if you need it for low maitenance soft styles drumming.

Beyond the call of duty

I have only good things to say about this stand. it is set up boomed out almost all the way with a 20"Sabian AAX stage ride mounted on it. This is where the beyond the call of duty comes in. I also have a dog bone connected to it holding another 18" boom fully extended with an 18" Sabian AAXPLOSION crash with a 12" AAX splash stacked on top of it. it is setting on a carpeted floor and has never even budged and I do hit hard. Its all a matter of counter ballancing and I gotta belive that all of the weight pushing down on the fully extended legs is what keeps it so stout and sturdy. So even if money is not an issue this is a fantastic stand. I have read other reviews else where and people do a lot of petty complaining about this stand. The things that they complain about are not realy valid because they would have the same problems with much more expensive stands. So bottom line. if I could give this stand 10 stars I would because it is definitely doing more than twice the job! : )~
